my lens is 18mm~55mm. With additional filter of 0.45X macro/wide angle, what can i do ?
I am more interested in macro…..like taking pictures of insect, flowers, fracture surface, etc.
with that combination what is my closest object that i can take ??

Those filters don’t do much for the quality of your shots.
If you can’t afford a macro lens, you’re better off getting some extension tubes for your 18-55 lens.
Extension tubes don’t have any glass in them, they just let you get closer to your subject. The very cheapest of them work only on full manual settings, with manual focus (which isn’t such a bad thing), the better ones (e.g. Kenko tubes) have the necessary electronic bits to communicate with your camera so you can still auto focus.
They tend to come in sets of three, you can use them either individually, or stack them, depending on your needs at the time.
