Digital Camera for Dentistry ?? Samsung S85 or SOny DSC-W55 ?

I am a dentist, and i wanna buy a digital camera to record my dental cases, i am confused whihc one to buy
Samsung S85 , 8,2 megapixel, wiht 5x digital zoom and 5x digital zoom or
Sony dsc w55 7.2 megapixel wiht 3x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom
i know the reviews for the sony camera are better, but i want a good zoom as well so that i can get good photos of my dental cases,
so any expert can help me in this ?

Zoom is less critical unless your taking the picture from the other side of the room and using a tripod. Instead you will want a digicam with good macro shooting capability.

Also you’ll want a camera that focuses quickly even in lower light situations (like the inside of someones mouth. I’d recommend an entry level SLR (Nikon D40 for example) and a decent macro lens.

You may also elect to buy one which offers a ring flash option. This is usually the preferred lighting method for macro photography when natural ambient light is not sufficient.
