Camera Lighting equipment

What would I need to do this?

What kind of camera lighting equipment would I need to purchase in order to achieve these type of effects in my photographs as the ones that are with bright white everywhere? Also, on photoshop-specifically, what would I need to do to get the skin and eyes looking really sharp, crisp, and bright like the eyes on several of the teen pictures? I’m new at this and not having a really easy time gather information on all of this so any additional would HELP! Thanks!

Knowledge, skill and experience are the main requirements.

Knowledge, of lighting, posing, exposure and photography in general.

Skill – in knowing where to focus (the eyes) to get the best looking shot, how to get the sitter to look relaxed, where to place the lights for the best catchlights, shadows etc

experience – the above comes with experience and the only way to get it is to initially read up on the various areas then practice and learn from your mistakes and from other photographers.

Equipment is secondary to a good overall knowledge of the necessary photographic skills.
