internet disconnects everytime someones phones house

i have wireless internet, linksys G pci adapter or something, and wehenever someone phones my house(so when it rings), picks up, or hangs up my internet disconnects and its gone for quite a while. its very frustrating, how can i fix this? i do have filters on every phone, there are a few cordless phones near my computer, but in other rooms, but they are all upstairs, and im running on channel 6 if that means anything. if i have to change channels, how do i change them? or whate else can i do

If you’re using DSL, make sure every phone in the house has a filter. Even if the phone is in another room or on another floor. (You might have done that already, but your question was sort of unclear about that part.)
