How can u get smoky smells out of leather?

Hi there
I have recently purchased a new bag its leather,i have recently been in a smoky environment and now my bag stinks of it,i tried to put nice smelling tumble dryers sheets in a pillow case with my bag and put it in the tumble dryer for a few Min’s,i couldn’t put it on a high temp though,but it never worked still stinks of smoke,myself i have quite smoking in 2008 oct and i really don’t like the smell,i have looked on the net to see if there is anything that can help get rid of the smell of smoke from my leather bag,but i cant find anything so my question is does anyone have any tips.thank you in advance xoxo
I already tried hanging it out but its like thick smoke smell,just mad cause my bag is new ,thank u for all ur help xoxo
