G1 help..Olympus Lens crop factor?

i have a Lumix g1 and i'm thinking of buying the Zuiko Digital ED
70-300mm F4.0-5.6 lens from Olympus. With the 4/3 mount adapter, would their be any crop factor with this lens? And if so, would the cropped version be seen on the viewfinder before the picture was taken or will you only see the cropping after the photo is taken?

4/3rds sensors have a crop factor of 2x so the 70-300 mm becomes a 140 to 600 mm when equated with a 35 mm SLR
