How to clean a Polaroid 250 camera?

Can you give me some tips/suggestions on how to clean my camera?
There is rust on the battery/film door hinges, rust on the metal parts that hold the rollers, rust around the shutter release button, dust outside the bellows, the rangefinders have a bit of tension when i push them, and the view finder glass is dusty.

What rust cleaner would you recommend? WD-40 for the rangefinders?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you camera has that amount of rust, it is probably on the inner workings as well, I would call around to the local camera shops to find someone who can clean and inspect it.

If I was going to do it myself, I would prefer not to use WD-40 (too much oil residue). I would use something like a Lithium grease, watch oil (sparingly), and a silicone lube (for places near plastic or rubber). For a general cleaner, I like 90% Isopropyl alcohol ( not 70%) and lint free cloths.
