Sims2Deluxe,I load the game just fine & get into the neighborhood.I try 2 get in2 a house & it crashes help pz

So yea as I said in my question (which has a limited amount of characters so I couldn’t say everything) i own Sims 2 Deluxe. Ok I put the game disk in and load the game, click on the neighbor hood. Choose a house and click to enter it. Then it goes to that blue screen with the picture of the family on it. That hourglass comes up and it starts to load. After 10 seconds a pop up comes up and says the game has crashed. Now I’ve tried uninstalling it which meant loosing all of my data. But I love this game so I unistalled and reinstalled. I restarted my computer does anyone know what I else I can do. Other then adding more memory or w.e to my computer. Please I need answers!
