Why did this lady do this?

I went to the grocery store the other day and a older lady, probably in her seventies, helped me put the groceries in my car. She seemed very cold and had this disgruntled look on her face as she strolled the cart to my car. Once we started unloading she started sniffing me! I quietly asked, “Is something the matter?” and she snapped back at me, “What kind of fragrance do you wear!”
“Well, It’s probably my axe deodorant” I said with a confused look.
“Axe!?” she yelled back. “I’ve never heard of it,” she added.
“Well, I keep it in my car with me,” I said as I grabbed it out of the front seat. She immediately grabbed it out of my hands. She tried twisting the cap off. I said, “Hear let me help you.”
“I got it!” she fired back. She managed to get the cap off and let out a couple test sprays. After that, she pulled her sleeves up, sprayed her pits, gave me a huge grin, and took off with the cart. I stood there in confusion. What was wrong with her and why did she do this?
