My Nikon D90 sometimes refuses to auto-focus, and i need to shut it off and back on. Is this a common glitch?

Also, I dropped my sb-900 flash from a couple feet and it has a couple dings. I put it on the camera and it started acting up. At first it didn't want to work and was telling me the wrong iso on ttl mode(first 5 minutes). Then it started giving me these tiny flashes on part of the exposure so i got this effect where u can see blurring but also a clear image(for the next few minutes). Then probably after turning it and the camera on and off a few times, it started to work fine. I used it for a few hundred shots after that w no problem. Why is my equipment acting up?

Get a new camera

I have a kodak z1485 and its the best thing ive ever bought. Done listen to people when they tell you a Kodak is bad.
